Do you spend as much time on your feet as you do on your
face? Probably not, I would say. Well, it's time to give your
feet some Goddess treatment and thank and praise them for
all the work they do for you, every day.
First, there is no use doing this once, this must become
part of your Goddess beauty and wellness ritual. Even if you
have to write it into your diary to remind yourself - once
a week (minimum). And ensure you visit a podiatrist every
quarter - don't rely on the person who paints your toenails
- have your feet checked by a specialist.
For the past few months, you've probably had your feet in
socks, stockings or enclosed shoes. That breeds moisture which
leads to bacteria. Most Podiatrists will wash your feet in
a bacteria fighting lotion - I recommend Renew Bath Oil. A
little drop in hot water and soak your feet for five minutes
- time to file your nails or pluck your eyebrows!
Like any skin beauty treatment, exfoliation is an exhilarating
experience. I dab my exfoliation treatment onto my feet and
give them a good scrub - it tingles because of the apricot
seed and walnut shells, but I know that I'm removing the dead
skin and debris. What does this Goddess use? Nicole Miller
Radiance Exfoliating Treatment.
The next step is to dab some balm on any problem areas on
your feet eg Corns or rough skin - I recommend MelaGel Topical
Balm. This will heal the area at the same time keep it hydrated.
Then give your feet a good massage. Use a good moisturiser
(a natural product), for example Renew Intensive Skin Therapy.
Rub it in, all over. Again - think of how you lather your
face - do the same with your feet. You'll find that your feet
will feel super soft once you've done this a few times. As
Spring and Summer enters our Goddess lives, we want other
Goddesses and men to be attracted to our feet, not be shocked
at the dry heels hanging over our gorgeous shoes.
A little tip, if you suffer from 'smelly feet' or maybe your
partner does, it's time to go to the podiatrist - it means
that there is a bacteria lurking somewhere in between those
toes. In the meantime, rub a cooling gel (natural) into your
feet - a product that does a great job is called Naturals
Clear Defense. It contains Tea Tree oil and naturally derived
alcohol to moisturise the feet and it won't dry them. It comes
in a handy size that fits in your handbag or brief case.
All these quality products are available from the Melaleuca
Warehouse - you can order direct with them, on the internet
or over the phone. Let me know if you'd like to order these
products and I'll show you how to access them at discounted
prices.
Blissful thoughts .... Louise
